Houthi Militias Target Riyadh Oil Refinery in A New Terrorist Crime

Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum newspaper reported in its editorial that that the Iranian regime always seeks to destabilizing the security and stability of the region by supporting, arming and recruiting terrorist entities and militias. Iranian regime believes that the adoption of thoughts, entities and terrorist militias to destabilize the security and stability, in addition to carrying out attacks against vital joints in the global economy, would enable it to achieve its expansionist agendas in the region, the paper added. In this regard, the Official Spokesman of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen, Brigadier General Turki Al-Malki, stated that the Joint Coalition Forces have intercepted and destroyed a bomb-laden UAV launched systematically and deliberately by the Iran- backed terrorist Houthi militia to target civilians and civilian objects in the City of Khamis Mushait, the paper concluded. Al-Bilad newspaper reported in its editorial that a new terrorist crime committed by the Houthi militia, targeting the oil refinery in Riyadh by drones, threatening the security and stability of energy supplies in the world. The attack did not result in injuries or deaths and the oil supplies and their derivatives were not affected, the paper added. The Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has supported all international efforts and initiatives to find way out of the Yemeni crisis, as Saudi Arabia continues its relief and development efforts for Yemeni people, the paper further added. These efforts have been repeatedly praised by the international community, as the US Special Envoy to Yemen announced that he received all support from the coalition, affirming that Saudi support is important and essential, the paper concluded. --SPA
